Richard Ernst, a seasoned entrepreneur with experience across more than 12 industries, founded Richard Assists with the mission of guiding small businesses from creation to successful sale. Drawing from this extensive background, Richard has helped build numerous ventures, tailoring strategies for growth and sustainability


In parallel, Richard’s personal experience of owning and maintaining over 30 cars revealed a gap in consumer knowledge about car maintenance. He saw the importance of car owners taking charge of their vehicle’s condition, not only to save on costs but also to ensure road safety. This insight led to the creation of the Auto Care Academy.

The Academy was designed to empower everyday car owners with the knowledge of how their vehicles function and how to perform basic maintenance. Richard developed in-person classes that are simple to follow, giving attendees the confidence to handle routine car care and recognize when it’s time to consult a professional mechanic. This proactive approach helps participants prevent costly repairs and keeps their vehicles in top condition, promoting long-term vehicle safety and performance.
